In my secondary research i will be looking a three different artist from different genres i will be analysis their music video and giving my opinion on what went well and what i liked about each video.

Grime

stormzy-shut up  this is a grime song that has been created by a grime artist named stormzy we know this is a grime song because it consists the basic elements of other grime songs for example the content spoken about in the track, the bpm which is normally 130-140, also the beat that is used is very up beat and is set at a medium pace.

HIP HOP

Young thug "with that" featuring Duke this is a hip hop song produce by an american hip hop/rapper named young thug he has produced a lot of hip hop tracks over the last few years and has been recognised for his unique style in the hip hop/rap genre.

50 cent is a legendary new york rapper that has left a remarkable in the american/ UK rap scene as he has show aspects of his life into his rap songs which makes his music violent and enjoyable to listen to as people can relate to his music which is what rap is about.

COMPARISONS & DIFFERENCES
grime and hip hop are more similar to each other than they are to rap the reason being is that both genres have aspects of the same beats and melodies are often fun and bubbly to listen to. on the other hand there is still the uses of females and money which is used in the context of rasp and hip hop songs, also you see brighter scenery in these music videos. the difference between these genres is that rap is considered to be more violent, angry  and dark you can tell this through the tone pf the artist and the props they use in there music video, also we recognise this by the way the story is told.

conclusion 

for my secondary research it helped me with getting ideas for my music video as a had a chance to analyse what to include in my music video. the pros and cons of this research is that this type of research helps me save time and money which makes me access the information i need fast and simple. the con would be that the data i have got now may have not been update so i would have some out dated information. my favourite genre would be grime and the reason i chose stormzy's track is because the video is simple and enjoyable to listen to. what i like about the video was that thew visuals was clear and the scenery was a good choice and didnt need so high quality special effects.
